The Power of Touch: Enhancing Your Natural Beauty

This is not a secret, my favorite self-care practice to enhance natural beauty is facial massage.

Facial massage is for me an essential part of skincare. Applying skincare products at the surface of the skin is important to cleanse, hydrate and protect it, but this is not enough. Why?

Because our faces contain over 40 muscles (aka the 40+ forgotten muscles) each holding onto daily physical and emotional stress, as well as a complex circulatory system made out of blood, oxygen, and lymphatic fluids, all playing a significant role in the health and appearance of our skin. Facial massages targets and addresses this entire structure. 

When done regularly, face massages can reshape our facial features by relaxing, sculpting, lifting, and toning them. Face massage also increases blood circulation, which brings more oxygen, the true nutrient for our cells, to the muscles and skin. Additionally, it also reduces puffiness and gives our face a detox by improving lymphatic drainage.

Practicing regular face massages not only improves how we look but also boosts our emotional well-being. By dedicating time for this self-care practice, we prioritize relaxation and rejuvenation, creating a harmonious connection between our inner and outer beauty.
